Cromer Exhaust is owned and operated by Graeme and David Crawford and we opened the doors in 2000 on Sydneys Northern Beaches. With over thirty years experience in the industry we had a good understanding of what customers wanted and today provide a vast array of services over and above exhausts.
The large workshop has six bays, six hoists plus a motorbike hoist. The knowledgeable staff of five are all car guys and treat each customer car like their own. It is not unusual to see everything from Astons, Corvettes, Hot Rods to Rolls Royce, XY Fords and Toranas in the shop. We also service modern cars, trucks and exhausts on motor bikes.
Starting with exhausts we can provide and fit standard mufflers, catalytic converters and exhausts as well as full custom exhausts built to customer requirements. Extractors can be sourced or built and we can provide a range of coatings if desired. Full stainless systems can be manufactured and the workshop is capable of TIG, MIG, Alloy and Stainless welding. Any brand of exhaust component available in Australia can be supplied and fitted and we stock a full range of chrome tips in store.
Cromer Exhaust Centre is part of the A1 Exhaust group which benefits customers by providing an Australia wide service network. This allows a customer who is travelling in Australia to have warranty work carried out by any member of the group. The company is also a member of the Exhaust Specialist and Professional Association (E.S.P.A) and Graeme is a committee member.
Cromer Exhaust is a member of the Motor Traders Association and was the Motor Traders Association Under Car Specialist of the Year for four years 2001 - 2004 and in 2005 were finalists for Member of the Year.
Other services provided include full car servicing for all cars including classic and modern vehicles. Tyre fitting, wheel balancing and wheel alignment services are all taken care of in house and we are an Authorised Registration Inspection outlet.
The workshop provides full mechanical restorations that include engine swaps, gearbox conversions, motor rebuilds and tuning, clutches, differentials, comprehensive brake upgrades and servicing and the supply and installation of high performance braking and suspension components.
We have prepared customer cars for tarmac rallying including Targa Tasmania participants on three occasions and Targa New Zealand. We campaign our own Commodore and have been involved in two Bathurst twenty four events. Other customer cars participate in track, drift and drag racing.
As a company we sponsor the Northern Beaches Hotrod Association and Cromer Public School as well as our own racing car. David is an ambassador for the Team Safe Program for Spinal Cord Injuries Australia.
