This event is the highlight of the annual Mustang calendar where Mustangers from all over Australia and New Zealand gather to either display their vehicles or enter the competition sections.
The Nationals is open to members of the Mustang Owners Club of Australia through their affiliated State Clubs and is always a major attraction to the public and local community wherever and whenever the event is held. We expect in excess of 200 Mustangs from local and interstate will be in attendance.
The West Torrens Birkalla Soccer Club facility at Novar Gardens is the venue for the Nationals judging day on Sunday 4th April 2010. Together with a range of sponsor, food and refreshment facilities we propose extending an invitation to other special interest Clubs to display their vehicles.
All our activities over the weekend will centre in and around the Glenelg precinct particularly the Holdfast Shores Marina and Jetty Road.

AOMC - AHMF National Motoring Heritage Day 2010
Events across Australia
9:00 AM - 3:00 PM
The AOMC & AHMF present the National Motoring Heritage Day, Sunday 16 May 2010.
The National Motoring Heritage Day is an initiative of the Australian Historic Motoring Federation. The AHMF is the National body representing the State peak Motoring groups in all states and territories throughout Australia. The day has been chosen to avoid conflict with major events in Australia. It's the week following Mother's Day!
The objective of the event is to get as many veteran, vintage and classic vehicles on the road at the same time throughout Australia to gain publicity for these vehicles, motoring clubs and the events that are run. The target audience is the public and government - local, state and federal. This publicity will highlight to government that the recreation and hobby vehicle movement is a significant force in the community. The event will enhance your chances of gaining new members to your club. Also, it is an opportunity to highlight some of the civic and social works undertaken by some clubs. Many clubs have a run or static event in their calendar to assist a charity and this is an ideal time to promote that event both for your club and the charity!

From old school V8 Muscle to Imports to Hot Rods and everything in between, they will all be out in force and with hundreds of entrants making their way through the gates last year, their sure to be eager to get onto the track for the First Carline Mufflers Powercruise session of the day which will kick of at 8am.
Then the Powerskid competition will light up the straight followed by Off Street drags, more cruising, the Hour of Power which funnily enough only goes for half an hour as the best of the best just can’t seem to cop a flogging for a good hour. Then we got more cruising, followed by the burnout comp and if we got time, might just have to see what’s on the main stage from then on…

10:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Although the “British Auto Classic 2010” is the place to be for anyone with interest in Classic Motor Vehicles there is also plenty to do for the entire family. There is a big market including a quality craft and produce, a smorgasbord of fine country foods, outdoor variety show, kids fun and games while mums and dads can taste the best from the west in the regional wine and gourmet expo.
Gates open at 10am, there is no charge for entry to this huge event and with another record crowd expected you will need to be there early so as not to miss out on anything.
Waroona Town Oval is set alongside the South Western Highway, in the centre of Waroona about 75 minutes drive from Armadale, 30 minutes from Mandurah and 40 minutes from Bunbury.
